Hospital History

Sikarin Public Company Limited (“Sikarin” or “SKR”) was established on March 15, 1979, initially under the name Samrong Clinical Medicine Company Limited, with the aim of operating a private hospital business. The initial registered capital was 16 million baht. The hospital building was completed in 1979 and began operations in 1981. In 1985, the company was renamed Sikarin Public Company Limited and successfully went public.

Sikarin Bangkok Hospital is located at 976 Lasalle Street, Srinakarin Road, in the southeastern part of Bangkok. The hospital has 354 inpatient beds and a medical team comprising over 400 specialists. With comprehensive medical technology and a highly qualified team of experts and experienced medical staff, we have long been the preferred choice for the people who live around Srinakarin area. The hospital also offers multiple language translation services, providing a convenient medical environment for expatriates in the surrounding areas.

Since its establishment, Sikarin Public Company Limited has expanded to three hospitals: Sikarin Samutprakarn Hospital, located at 999/23-26 Sukhumvit Road, with 100 inpatient beds; Sikarin Hatyai Hospital, aimed at providing medical and public health services to the residents of southern Thailand, with emergency services and rapid transfer capabilities for specialized patients, and 350 inpatient beds.

Sikarin Bangkok Hospital is accredited by the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (HA) of Thailand and the Joint Commission International (JCI). In 2020, Sikarin Bangkok Hospital received an award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for providing an excellent working environment for medical professionals, enabling them to deliver optimal care to patients.
